Academy for European Human Rights Protection of the University of Cologne
Annalisa Romano is a student assistant at the Academy for European Human Rights Protection of the University of Cologne and holds the position of Mnemonic Reality project assistant for the German Team. Her primary academic focus revolves around human rights and comparative law. Currently pursuing a degree in law at the University of Cologne, she specializes in Public International Law and European Union Law, alongside additional training in US law and Culture. During her studies, Annalisa seized the opportunity to engage in a European Human Rights Moot Court Competition, further enriching her practical understanding of legal principles and human rights law. Additionally, she completed internships in litigation at an international law firm and at the political office of the German Embassy in Rome. Apart from German and English, she is also fluent in Italian.
