Max Boiar-Verwohlt is a research assistant at the at the University of Cologne, working within the Academy for European Human Rights Protection. His current research focuses on the analysis of the impact of European legislation on Holocaust denial and relativization. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and is currently studying for his Master’s degree in Sociology: Social and Economic Psychology at the University of Cologne. His bachelor’s thesis deals with the voting behaviour of people with a migration history in the 2021 federal elections. In his previous internships and jobs as a working student, he has specialised in qualitative research methods such as interviews.
